INEC office Burnt down in Abia State

                          
The Office of Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC at Obingwa Local government area of Abia  has been burnt down in a scenerio suspected to be politically motivated.
The thugs arrived with dangerous weapons, brandishing guns, knives and force their way into the local government headquarter.

The local government council governorship election result is one that is been contested at the Election tribunal,the arson followed after the announcement by the Election tribunal that 10th of August, hearing of the Petition will commence
 Justice Usman Bwala, the Chairman of the tribunal made the annoucement during sitting in umuahia.
 Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the April election, Dr.Alex Otti Filed the petition  challenging the declaration of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu as the winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
