National Assembly on Wednesday said they welcome the decision of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission to review downward the salaries and allowance of law makers
The House of Representatives said that it would be a relief for the members in various ways,including restoring the dignity of the House who have been label thieves and looters on account of their salaries and allowance.
The Chairman of RMAFC, Mr. Elias Mbam, had on Tuesday disclosed that a new pay package, reflecting cuts in the remuneration of public service officers would be released in September.
